WOOD

PREMIUM MATERIALS AND FINISHES

In most cases, mahogany* provides the best combination of versatility, performance, stability and appearance. Ours is responsibly harvested and provides superior moisture resistance. Minimal annual maintenance will help to provide optimal protection from the elements. The result is a stunning appearance that lasts.

*Actual wood species is either sapele or sipo, both non-endangered species grown in Africa, with color and characteristics similar to Central American mahoganies. Natural occurring variations in grain, color and texture of wood make each window or door one of a kind.  We cannot guarantee consistency in wood grain and/or color within a particular species, product or project.

PRODUCT TYPES

WINDOWS

INSWING/OUTSWING CASEMENT

A casement window is a type of window that is fixed on one side and hinges open like a door on the other.

INSWING TILT-TURN

Tilting inward from the top of the window, the tilt function invites fresh air while keeping the elements out. The turn function opens the entire window to open inward, making cleaning the exterior of the windows easier.

FIXED

Fixed or “stationary” windows are non-operating. Available in fixed sashed or direct glazed units.

DOORS

INSWING/OUTSWING HINGED

A hinged door is a type of door that is attached to the door frame with two or three vertical hinges along the right or left-hand side and swings open from the unattached side.

FOLDING

A folding door is a type of door which opens by folding back in sections or so-called panels. Folding doors are also known as 'bi-fold doors', in spite of them most often having more than two panels.

LIFT-SLIDE

A lift-and-slide door is a type of sliding door that uses a lifting mechanism to make it easier to open and close. The door panels are lifted up onto rollers, allowing them to slide easily along the tracks.
